Biography:
Vendula Machackova is a healthcare and pharmaceutical expert with 25 years of international experience. She is the Head of Science, Research, and Innovation at the Regional Hospital Liberec. And chairs its Scientific Committee. With a Ph.D. in Business Administration she specializes in digital healthcare, smart hospitals, and medical technology Innovation. Ahe is also a university lecturer, researcher, and a member of ACPHE under the European Commission.

It continues with an introduction to the portfolio of grants and programs under Horizon Europe, EIT Health, and national agencies for investment and development. Additionally, the lecture touches a bit upon cross-cultural differences among EU countries.
