Biography:
Dr. Rozkovec is an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Liberec. He received master and Ph.D. in Technical Cybernetics from the Faculty of Mechatronics in 2006 and 2011 respectively. He has completed several research stays at Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse and at CNRS LAAS. Currently, he serves as Deputy Head of the Department of Information Technologies and Electronics at the Faculty of Mechatronics, and as the representative of TUL in the Czech Semiconductor Cluster. His research interests include reconfigurable architectures, digital design and diagnostics, and hardware–software co-design.

Title: Implementing SoCs on FPGAs
Abstract:
Lecture focuses on recent FPGA circuits. Traditional FPGA building blocks are introduced as well as the most recent parts of the most modern circuits. Different design approaches will be shown with focus on high level system description on real world examples.
