    The Taiwan Affinity Program (TAP) is one of the strategic initiatives under the University Academic Alliance in Taiwan (UAAT), promoted by the Ministry of Education (MOE) as part of its Action Plan to Attract and Retain International Students in Taiwan. The program is commissioned by the MOE and implemented with the support of the Strategic Office for International Collaboration in Key Fields.

    TAP aims to strengthen international research collaboration and talent exchange between Taiwan and the world. It specifically targets international scholars with affinity or connection to Taiwan, inviting them to submit proposals and engage in deeper academic cooperation with Taiwan’s scholarly community.

• Submission Deadline: August 22, 2025, at 23:59 (Taiwan Time)

• Application Requirements: A project concept note in both Word (.docx) and PDF formats 

• Email subject line must follow this format 「2025 UAAT TAP Project Pre-Proposal_Applicant Name_Project Field」
