Biography:
Tomas Kvasnicka is a physiotherapist from the Czech Republic with a focus on manual therapy, rehabilitation, podiatry, fascial therapy, and visceral therapy. He completed his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at Charles University in Prague in 2021 and has since gained experience in both clinical practice and education.
Throughout his career, Tomas has been interested in a holistic approach to movement and rehabilitation. His professional journey has taken him through New Zealand and Ireland, where he had the opportunity to learn and compare different physiotherapy methods.
Tomas enjoys teaching anatomy to future healthcare professionals, including nurses, radiology assistants, and biomedical engineers. His approach is influenced by the Prague School of Rehabilitation, incorporating Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), the Vojta Method, and Lewit’s Manual Therapy Principles.
Tomas looks forward to sharing insights into Czech physiotherapy with PhD students at Taipei Medical University, encouraging international discussion and collaboration in the field of rehabilitation.
