This visit provides UAAT members with valuable insights into the academic exchange needs and cooperation challenges faced by the Czech Republic and other European countries, further strengthening partnerships among Taiwanese universities.

On one hand, delegation representatives engaged in in-depth discussions with Czech scholars, recognizing the Czech Republic’s strengths in scientific research, education, cybersecurity, and environmental studies. These exchanges offer valuable perspectives on fostering closer transnational cooperation between Taiwan and the Czech Republic, paving the way for future collaborative achievements. On the other hand, the UAAT Fair provides a platform for direct interaction between delegation members and Czech faculty and students, significantly enhancing awareness of Taiwan’s higher education system. Notably, many Czech students expresses keen interest in studying in Taiwan, particularly in learning Mandarin and participating in academic exchanges—a promising sign for deeper academic collaboration.

Looking ahead, the UAAT Secretariat will continue to build on this momentum by seeking further exchange and cooperation opportunities with ICU member universities under the UAAT-ICU memorandum of cooperation, contributing to global academic development and fostering sustainable partnerships between Taiwan and the Czech Republic.
